FAQ

  • Do you meet in-person?

    Currently, I’m 100% virtual.

  • What happens after the curriculum?

The curriculum is a guide. I tailor it to the individual, so it is shorter for some and longer for other, but usually lands around 12-14 sessions. Many clients like to continue working and that is welcomed, I will never kick someone out. My desire in establishing the curriculum is to bring clear structure and direction to an often vague process. I have found this to be a very helpful approach for many.

  • I'm not a sex or porn addict, will you still meet with me?

I’m happy to learn what it is you’re looking to achieve and then discuss with you what I may be able to offer of value to you - or not. I’ll let you make the decision from there.

  • What are your hours?

Convenient access - when you want it - is key to success, it only makes progress harder when you’re having to miss work to take time to focus on yourself. With that in mind, I offer evening sessions until 10:30 pm as well as both Saturday and Sunday sessions.

  • Is this a replacement for therapy?

This is not a replacement for therapy and serves to be complementary as it is leveraging a solution-focused coaching and empowerment model specific to rapid improvement and healing for men dealing with problematic sexual behavior.

  • How often should we meet?

This is 100% up to you. Most clients meet weekly, however many begin meeting more regularly at the start then transition to weekly or biweekly. Either way, completely up to you, my only requirement is that you give yourself enough time in between sessions to complete your homework.

  • Am I a Sex or Porn Addict?

Addiction, largely, runs on a spectrum and is not necessarily a binary yes/no. I’ve provided a couple of assessments you can self-test to see if you may cross the threshold into addiction.

    Sex Addiction Screening Test.

    Porn Consumption Scale.
